Rivington Hall Barn is a huge cruck framed barn, probably dating back to a pre Norman Conquest barn, although restored and altered in the 17th Century. It is now used as a Wedding Venue, and hosts a regular antiques fair every other Wednesday. It is unusual for a cruck framed barn in having aisled extensions down either side. The crucks stand on large stone plinths giving it an impressived height. It has seven bays with a midstrey in the central bay. For details of events, visit their website.
