Prior’s Hall barn originally belonged to a French priory but then passed into the ownership of New College, Oxford. It is now under the management of English Heritage. For opening times see their website. The barn has eight bays and is about 40 metres long, 13 metres wide and about the same height. It has two entrances but there is no evidence that it had the usual exits on the opposite side, which has a moat close up to it. It had an internal partition dividing it into two sections of three and five bays.
