The restaurant at the Battlefield Visitor Centre is inside the framework of a medieval aisled barn. It has passing-braces from the wall-plates to the aisle-posts, passing midway though the wall-tie and arched-braces between the aisle posts and the tie beams. There are arched wind-braces to the purlins
The barn originally stood on a farm in Sandiacre in Derbyshire. It was moved to Leicestershire for conservation and repair and then re-erected inside a modern barn-like structure so that the frame could be displayed and still be protected from the elements.
