Woodland Trust Cruck Barn

The Woodland Trust was set up in 1984 as a charity to help protect and develop our woodlands. The Greenwood Centre is located in Coalbrookdale. Its main building, Woodland Hall, is a fine example of modern timber building. The centre hosts environmental conferences and runs courses in woodworking and woodland management.

The Cruck Barn was built by volunteers in 1980. It is based on the cruck barn at the Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings. It is now used for the display and sale of woodcraft products produced on site and by other wood workers.
