Tatton Park - Home Farm
Cheshire

The Home Farm at Tatton Park in Cheshire is a complex of buildings grouped round a dovecote and a boiler-house and steam engine, which provided the power for the machinery that carried out the work for processing feed and cereals.

The buildings date from the eighteenth and nineteenth century. They give an idea of how farming changed after the introduction of mechanisation. There is a stable block and barns for storing and processing feed. The site includes a children’s farm and various rare breeds of farm animal.
