Shibden Hall, Yorkshire

Shibden Hall is a fifteenth century timber-framed manor house. Together with its park it is owned by Calderdale Council. The house and barn are run as a museum.

The barn is similar in design to the larger and older barn at East Riddlesden Hall and the barn at Gunthwaite Hall. It has the same low pitched roof, and roof trusses with king-posts and raked queen-posts. It is aisled on both sides. Outside it is clad in local stone with a stone tile roof.
